Products / Shapewit

Draw parts right in your browser.

Shapewit will be a CAD program that runs in your browser. You draw a sketch with dimensions, turn it into 3D and export to STEP, STL or DXF.

In development

What it will do

The first version sticks to the essentials. The rest will follow, in the order users ask for it.

  1. 2D sketches with dimensions

Lines, arcs and circles with dimensions and constraints, so the part keeps its shape when you change a dimension.

  2. From sketch to 3D

Extrude and revolve sketches into solid parts. Fillet and chamfer edges.

  3. Export

Save as STEP for other CAD programs, STL for 3D printing and DXF for laser and plasma cutting.

  4. Saved in the cloud

Your parts are saved with versions, so you can go back to an earlier one.

Real CAD geometry

Shapewit will be built on OpenCascade, the same open geometry kernel that FreeCAD and others use. That means precise solid parts rather than a mesh of triangles, and STEP files that open in other CAD programs.
