Privacy policy.
We collect as little as possible. This page explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have.
In short
- Files you open in Shapewit View are only processed in your browser on your own computer. They are not sent to us.
- The site sets no cookies. The viewer only remembers your settings in your own browser.
- If you sign up for a waitlist, we keep your email until you no longer want to hear from us.
- You can always ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it.

Files you open in Shapewit View
The viewer reads the file directly in your browser. The file is not uploaded, and we cannot see it. When you close the page, the file is gone from the viewer. We therefore process no personal data contained in your files.
The viewer remembers your settings, such as units and background, in your browser's local storage, so they are there next time. They are not sent to us, and you can delete them by clearing site data in your browser. The libraries the viewer uses to read files are loaded from our own server.
Waitlists
When you sign up for a waitlist, we store your email address, the product you are interested in, the language of the page and the time.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@aliveindeed.dk or using the link in our emails.
When you write to us
If you email us, we use your details to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages (Article 6(1)(f)). We delete the message when it is no longer needed, usually no later than two years after the last contact, unless accounting law requires us to keep it.
Running the website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To show the site and protect it against attacks, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address and browser type. This data is not used to track you or for marketing.
Statistics
We use no analytics tools. If we start counting visits later, it will be without cookies and without identifying you, and it will be described here.
Cookies
The site sets no cookies. That is why there is no cookie banner.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object, ask us to restrict processing or ask for your data in a portable format. Write to info@aliveindeed.dk and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk, or to the authority in your own country.
Changes
We update this policy when we change how we handle data, for example when paid subscriptions open. Last updated 13 October 2026.
